The Shelby County Health Department is committed to providing our community with the most accurate information about Coronavirus Disease 2019, known as COVID-19.
For answers to specific questions, call the Shelby County Health Department COVID-19 Call Center at 901-222-MASK (6275).
The Department always seeks to provide education and technical assistance to all businesses before taking any action that disrupts the business, but in the event that any business refuses to comply with current safety measures by creating an unsafe environment for members of the public, the Department has the authority to close the establishment. In those rare instances when this occurs, the business will be asked to submit a safety plan for reopening within 14 days (an incubation period) prior to being allowed to resume operations.
